New volunteers are always welcome at the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Currently over 150 individuals volunteer their time and expertise at the museum and enjoy being part of this exciting organization. |
About half of the museum's volunteers work on aircraft restoration. To date these volunteers have restored or replicated about thirty aircraft now on exhibit in the museum. |
Some volunteers also work in the museum's library, perform clerical work or assist the museum in the development of exhibits, such as these interactive computer kiosks. |
Many volunteers perform as Museum Docents, giving guided tours and answering questions from the public and school groups. |
